Grip interchangeability for new and orig Schofields

I have a Uberti Schofield that I would like to change grips on.  Are original S&W Schofield grips interchangeable with the modern repros?

Having both a S&W (old) and a Uberti, I have to say no. I haven't tried to fit the old grips on the Uberti, but I did try to fit the Uberti grips to the S&W, no go. Also got ahold of some old ASM Schofield grips, again no go on the S&W. They could probably be made to work if I wanted to put a little more effort into it, but it was just an experiment I was able to do cheaply. Most of the ;extra; grips you will find out on the market today will be made for the Uberti frame.

And the modern 2001 S&W Schofield grips won't fit precisely, either.

can't say for the Schofield's , I'll defer to Robert & the Pathfinder...

but I can attest to the Uberti #3 and OEM S&W # 3 ..... minor (very minor) pass with an Emory board on the shoulders @ the Logo 1/2 round and it is drop in... the OEM grip  locating pin holes , needs some lining up with Uberti pin in the frame .
