The grilled cod turned out good.  Tonight it’s Johnsonville’s brats and grilled corn on the cob.

Another 92 degree day today,  A few hazy clouds floating by.

Got the lawn mowed, but got a little sore, as I haven’t been exerting myself too much lately.

Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

Happy birthday, Major E A Sterner!
T'storm went thru 'bout 16:30 and let loose of at least 1" of rain and hail.

'Tis 57 and partly cloudy. "Breezy. Partly sunny. Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 70s. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph shifting to the west 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent."

Being its June.... Hurricane Season has begun, and we are up to 3 depressions so far,  none have developed beyond mild tropical storms.
Bonnie is still out there, and moving east away from N. Carolina's  east coast.
# 3 is  A low pressure area over Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, and likely to develop into a tropical storm as it moves across the eastern Gulf of Mexico and Florida early next week.  ( they don't rate a name till the reach Tropical storm strength )
Locally heavy rains and flooding are likely over portions of the Yucatan, western Cuba and the Florida during the next several days.
I'm headed north on Tues. morning so I suppose it will be in the rain at least till mid-Georgia or so....

Had a good cup of Dunkin Donut coffee from my Keurig, I'm liking this thing  :)

I'm home, tired, had fun with old friends, made new ones.  No prowling around at all hours tonight.

Morning y'all.
Coffee is ready.

Had to verk yesterday. Upgraded the collection software. While waiting for client software to upgrade, we did data destruction. The last shot with my new-to-me Eddystone sent the HD 30' in the air and landed on the berm.  ;D

'Tis 58 and partly cloudy. "Breezy. Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning...Then mostly cloudy with showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs around 70. West wind 10 to 15 mph shifting to the northwest 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent."

RCS ?   where was that ?

TC Colin ( now named ) moves in this afternoon , up to eight-inches of rain and storm surges as high as three-feet could hit Florida's Gulf Coast by Monday afternoon.
Not much more than an advertised rain event...it will be blamed for stupid drivers  ::) doing stupid stuff.

Ah !  Pony Express ...did they recreate a ride ?

Minor plan change here.... Colin may become a Cat. 1 Hurricane ( very Likely ) and we begin to feel it this afternoon.

this has postponed my leave time one day,  to Wed. Morning for Indiana .  ... discretion being the better part of valor, I'm not interested to driving through a storm event ...with all the evacuee's on the road

Yeah, didn't have much with the shootout, Dave McCandless had a quad bypass 10 days ago and didn't feel like coming and being shot, so Monroe also stayed home with him.

The real trick is when the eye of the hurricane passes over.  It gets very calm...

Oh, BTW I had to fish a June Bug out of my coffee this weekend.    ::)

I also got in a battle with a crazy bumble bee, I won, he didn't get me stung and I got enough of my spray cleaner on him he tried to get away but went down in flames into the creek.   ;D

Glad the storm wasn't bad.  I've been through a few, Camille, Rita and Ivan.  I won't evacuate after the fiasco in Houston and the Texas Coast during Rita.

Good morning - or afternoon, as may be where you are, thanks for the cuppajoe.

Been hot, gonna be hotter, at least today, then, they say, it is going to cool down to the high nineties for a few days.  Forecast today is for 110 - ooooofff.  When it gets that hot, it is just plain hot, with a capital HOT.  I keep pairs of gloves in various locations by doorways so I can put them on when I go outside; anything metal is hazardous, gates, vehicles, and even some plastics, like our TOTER trash bin if it gets left outside, but I keep it in the garage most of the time.

With the heat, we stay indoors pretty much; here it is 1015, and it's already over 90, so I have some indoor things to get done, like installing a new printer all-in-one machine, and domestic stuff.  So, I'm gonna get at it.

Later.
