Checked it out, wasn't even a tornader, was a land spout, basically a tornado with a rating below EF-0:  less than 65 mph winds, was one up by Jerry's the other day,  We put up with worse straight line winds huddling in Jerry's cabin that night, heck I can sneeze harder than that. ;)

Dust devil ,  I was in one in west Texas ...a little buffeting , eerie quiet , will scatter trash hither & yond ...
Rare they cause any real damage.

I've seen them on occasion , here , we don't have a lot of open dust plains , so  constructing sites and parking lots will show them up some ... and sometimes on the beaches .

Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

'Tis 58 and sunny. "Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the morning...Then scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent."

Thanks for the coffee.
In the 70's now, high 80's this evening.  It is a wonderful day.

"I see skies of blue,
And clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
The dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world. "

Dust Devil is a differnt animal, they happen with a clear sky, land spout is really a tornado from a thunderstorm but not enough energy because it don't have enough hot air.

Had one cross near me 2 years ago on the way to the muster, it ran the stop sign and the highway intersection before I got there, scared me for a few seconds, was to worried about staying out of it's way and poof, was gone, no pictures.

Wow, Delmonico has ears.....Never saw them before. That's shorter than mine on top. Beard's longer, though. I don't do beards, not that I can't, tried it once, looked like Grizzly Adams. Too itchy for me, and felt like I needed to shampoo my face after every meal. That was back when my hair was near black, now if I had a beard, it's be all gray with a couple semi-dark patches.
