'51 or '60 RM?  At Cimarron we use a bunch of Bulldog zippered soft cases (with soft carrying handles).  The smaller size ones work fine for up to 7 1/2" barrels (those are a bit tight but fit), whereas 8" and longer barrels (1860) need the larger cases.  Sorry I don't know model numbers and I'm about 1000 miles from there right now, but seems like those smaller Bulldogs are about 12" long and the longer ones maybe 15" or so.  The larger ones will hold a 10" buntline.

As I mentioned, the cases that were about 12" long (the linked ad says the medium is 12") will not hold an 8" barrel.  7 1/2" yeah barely, but 8" with an Army grip, I think you will want the Large case.  Let us know if the medium fits.

I offered the Amazon link,  it listed several sizes.... sm. med. & lg.

if you order there and the med. does not fit, Amazon will exchange it , nothing but a thing  :-\

Forgot to mention.. The med measures 15x6 on their site. Which is the one i ordered. I might consider Bore Stores. A simple gun sleeve.
