Cartridge Conversions from the Cody museum
« on: October 17, 2016, 08:52:19 PM »
I thought you fellas might like these photos of Remington NMA conversions from my last trip to the cody museum.
It features both rimfire and centerfire conversions, with and without loading gates, and with and without ejectors.

Great, thanks!

People do not realize that Remingtons were second only to Colt in numbers converted.  .46 rimfire conversions were used several years before the Colt conversions.  I have even found reference to gunsmith conversions to .44 Henry and .45 Colt!  That is a reason I went with 1858s with R&D cylinders to go with my Henry for an early frontier personna.
