Remington C & B revolver

A friend showed me an 1858 44 Army Remington revolver he has which was manufactured in 1864 and carried by an officer in a NY regiment during the Civil War.  The finish (wood and metal both) is (to my untrained eye) at least 90% and likely better.



If the pic worked and anyone can help I'll post more detailed pics showing inspector marks, etc.
