Drydock,

Thanks for the video.
But... I think that is a bit more than I would care for.
My best,

A charter member of the "Mine's Bigger Than Your's" club ... and welcome to it! Anyone notice that he shoots that behemoth from both left and right shoulders?

I put 35 rds of 45-70 with 520 gr/62 FFg loads through my new #1 Shiloh yesterday establishing "0" at 100-150-200m from the prone x-stix position with no ill effects save a slight 'rug burn' on my right elbow.  No fear of shoulder damage and/or detached retinas.

I had Sr. NCO's tell me what it was like to shoot the Boys anti-tank rifle in WWII. No one enjoyed it. It was useful to shoot open locked doors and was so employed by the Canadian Army during the battle of Ortona.

Thanks, but no thanks for me. Yes I did notice he shot from both shoulders. Probably switched every other shot to give time for his shoulder joints to return to T.D.C. :o

I was just watching this again...and the amazing part is around 1:32 into the video. During slow motion you can actually see the stock flex   a LOT!! :o :o  Very cool to see how much the wood actually takes without breaking.
