Easy cattle drive question

During the texas cattle drive era, missouri and half of kansas prohibited the driving of cattle through the state. I assume they allowed them to be shipped through the state by rail however. Does anyone know if this is correct? Thanks

Yes, they were shipped by rail to eastern markets from central/western Kansas.
