I got coal for Christmas, made trade.

Yes, everyone tells me I'm getting coals for Christmas, hah, don't care, I trade it with my blacksmith for finished product.

The exchange was made today, Dave and I discussed this around a fire in Aug.   He asked me what I thought, "it's perfect. no stooping, good handle, heavy duty and superb craftsmanship.

My mom always referred to getting switches if we were naughty. Getting an iron poker/lifter could be either better or worse!

If it makes your cast iron cookery show any easier, it has to be an improvement.

If you don't have me on your nice list for your cook book, please put me in coach!

OH! And, Merry Christmas ans a Happy New Year.

Had some wonderful Chilli con Duck tonight for dinner with daughters family. SIL & I shot four out in a tidal marsh.
