It is kinda overpriced.  Yes it is US built but it's not worth $1000 more than the Uberti.

Mike,

Good question.
Have you considered asking the manufacture?
I believe the contact info is listed.

With their brass 1860 Henry, HRA claimed that it was 100% American, so I'd expect the same with the "iron" frame model.

Can't tell from the one picture in the link posted above, but for that price the frame had better be case hardened with bone meal charcoal.

100%  made in the USA -  I've toured the Bayonne Factory

I have no Dog in the fight, but here is my $0.02

I observed, employee's happy at what they were doing, nice facilities... All were friendly , and took time to show me
and answer questions.

I'll pay the extra $$ for a quality US built firearm.

I'm glad to see Henry is apparently having sufficient success to add an additional variation to the lineup.

Henry says it will be made in the USA or not made at all.

I hope them continued success with their Original Henry line up. I'm still hoping they will make an 1866.

Here in NZ the Henry brand is very expencive $650nz for there brass frame 22 i belive.
The henry would be over $2500-3000 NZ i belive i was told.

It's an improved Henry. And I would welcome them to make a 73 or 76. Most of their work is done on the action for a 66 or 73 so why not.

I think it would be more appealing if it were all blue. Sorta like the originals.

Ditto. Only a handful of the very first iron frame ones were case colored.

Gimme a BREAK you guys!!

Everybody snivels there is no US made Henry.  HRA starts manufacturing a really nice Henry.  Everybody complains it's too expensive.

Everybody snivels they want an "Iron Frame Henry."  HRA starts manufacturing an "iron" frame.  Everybody complains because it's CCH as
opposed to all Blue.

So, you want a Henry, but you don't want to pay for it.  You want the Henry "your way" even though your not willing to pay for it.  Are you
under the mistaken impression this is a BURGER KING???  HRA gave you both versions of Henry, made in the USA and all you can do is
BITCH??

Mike is exempt from this tirade.  He is on the other side of the planet where all the blood runs down to your head  ;D

I'm on the same page as Coffin Maker.

The icon Winchester, long ago close shop, Brand now made in Japan by Miroku
their Bolt guns are made in Portugal...

Cerberus Capital Management owns Remington & Marlin still made here ...for now  :-\

Colts on the ropes ..... in Chapter 11 bankruptcy

In Mike's  case either HRA's H011 Henry or Uberti's Henry are imports from where he resides ... not to mention rather repressive government hoops he is obliged to jump through.

I fail to understand the double standard

owners of failed USFA which roots were with Uberti is all gaga,  and pay a premium for USA made.... over Uberti parts models....
while, others pan 100% US made HRA for being more pricey than a Uberti....
