Balkial sxs and slugs

Has anyone shot slugs or buckshot from a Balkial sxs?
I realize the kick will noticeble but that is secondary. Are they safe to shoot slugs out of?

I have shot 00 buckshot in my 26" Baikal SxS with IC and M choke tubes. These were factory paper loads. They were quite stout.
I have not shot slugs in it.

I have shot a couple of slugs through mine and mu sholder still hurts. Won't do that for a while. :'(  Oh , 20 inch barrels full and full.
