Uberti 1876 swap
« on: September 03, 2015, 02:26:56 PM »
Afternoon gents,

A long shot perhaps, but...

I'm finding myself having a bit of buyers remorse as far as caliber goes. When I got my Uberti 76 with the 28" barrel last year, I went with 45-60 for ease of loading etc. The more I think about it the more I think I would rather have the 45-75.

I've shot less then 40 rounds through mine without a hiccup. Mine is a 2013 or 2014 gun. It's still in pretty much new condition.

Anyone want to swap an Uberti 45-75 in similar condition for my 45-60?

Regards,
DD

Have you considered have the existing rifle rechambered?  OR Buy the 45/75 barrel (Cim $360) and have it replaced?  Sell the 45/60 barrel and recover some cost.
