Interesting labels and paper work...
« on: August 15, 2015, 12:04:46 AM »
Saw this on GB recently.

Interesting labels for a 100% Italian parts gun.....
Caveat emptor

This is a sample of a facrtory label.
Note the subtle differences between the two.  Things aren't as bad as in the 1st a Generation Colt community yet....but as the guns dry up on the market and prices continue to rise it is likely coming.

I don't see the problem.  I'm sure the label was, in fact, 100% American made.

I agree.  I would think that label was 100% American Made.  Or ..... conversely, 100% Made in America   ::)

I'll even bet, if we lurked on Gun Broker for a few days, we might even find several more labels that met the 100% made in America
standard.

Pettifogger, your a Genius.  And very preceptive  ;D

Well ...... Though ....... it might appear there is sculduggery afoot.  All just may not be well in USFA land.  All those trustworthy souls out there in the continuum, just might not be trustworthy at all.

Is it possible, in our secure world, there are those unscrupulous and nefarious characters who might counterfeit those special containers, labels and wrappings, for ........ GASP !!!!!  PROFIT???  Na, no way.  Parrish the thought  :o ;D
