That's a more modern gun, not something I would think they would allow at CAS.

Roy Rogers and Dale Evans entertained the troops in the summer of '66 in Long Xuyen, RVN, . . . and I got to be there.

One of his punch lines was:  "Do you all know why in the movies we call these 45's ?" as he held up his right hand pistol.

We all just laughed, . . . "Because in the movies, we can shoot em 45 times before we have to reload them".  The whole place just roared.

He was one of my Sunday Night "must see" shows growing up.  Glad I finally got to meet him.
