old jug of wisky

just got old 1976 jug of dickel  sour mash wisky ,never opened is it a keeper or a drinker thanks

Once it's out of the charred barrel and in the jug it doesn't mellow anymore.   If it's regular 12 year old Dickle it should be just like what you buy today.
