The 2016 NCOWS national convention will be held on March 11,12,13 in Davenport Iowa.
It will be hosted by members of the Phoenix Irregular Guard and the Sweetwater regulators.
Many of the usual events are being planned as well as some new and exciting things.
Please plan on attending and helping make this a premier event. Much information
will be coming in the future, we just wanted to get the dates out there for now

Yes the Quad city airport is across the river in Moline, MLI, if you have a private plane the
Davenport airport is about 3 miles from the convention . Either way the hotel has a
free shuttle

Just checked,  flights out of Orlando run $429 - $489 RT American & United....  + 50 first bag 

1226 Miles -  17 hours 37 mins hours by car (best case)  = about $360 in fuel and maybe & extra night on the road both ways ( allow $100 ) = $460.

that washes , so  a 3.5 hour flight VS an eternity on snowy, icy roads ...possibly very cold temps or worst

Major, check Allegiant Air, out of Sanford (Orlando), they fly direct and if booked early probably
a lot cheaper. They also fly direct to Dallas/Ft Worth for you Texans to consider.
