Buffalo Rifle shoot in New Mexico ?

I placed a topic in CAS  Events asking if anyone knows of a Buffalo Rifle shoot in New Mexico.  I am not a participant, yet, but I can be one heck of a spectator.  I don't see anything on the SASS site at Founders Ranch but maybe I did not look hard enough.  Anyone know of such or maybe how to get one started ?   Thanks, Jerry

I did find out that Whittington Center has Black powder shoots on the schedule. I belong to a gun club south of Albuquerque and am hoping to come up with info and get some interest in having a shoot.  There are CASS clubs through out the state but they don't mention any side matches about Buffalo Rifle shoots.  Thanks, Jerry

Not aware of any buffalo matches in New Mexico. They do have one in late October at Pecos Tx.
I believe one of the gun clubs around Alburquerque holds bpcr sillouette matches.
At the Whittiingto center they do have bpcr sillouette matches monthly, and then the national matches will be there, starting July 6th.
In late September the Blackpowder Target Rifle Matches will be at the Whittington center.
 They do have at the Whittington a buffalo target at 1100 yds , you can shoot at from the sillouette firing line, when ever there isn't a match going on, and I think over on the Cooper range there are some animal sillouette targets.

There is a longrange, and buffalo gong match coming up at Alliance Ne, May 1st-3rd.
