Drop dead gorgeous day, about 45° to start and getting to the range @ 7AM
Chilly till about 10ish then warmed to present 70° and breeze that made it feel cooler...
had about 250 girls, ladies and even some senior ladies experienced all the disciplines....
I counted 102 tickets , (Just the way we judge our numbers, tickets are free )
some 6-8 women were repeats thought ....
Interestingly we let them choose the Rifle & pistol they cared to shoot....
Rifle choices were several 1873's ( no surprise there ) , 1 Yellowboy , two 1894 Marlins & a 92 Rossi
Revolvers were many Ruger NMV & two pair of Black-hawks , 2 R&M Conversions & 1 Open top & 2 Uberti STALLION
Everything was 38 Special
No real surprise here the most popular ...the lighter 92 & 94 over the 73's & 66
and interestingly the conversions & OT were about as popular as the smaller Stallion's
Ruger's not so much , most didn't like either the feel or the weight .
