I went over to Arlington, Texas and found the Shoe repair place. I dropped off the gun belt and the holster to get repaired. It will take a couple of weeks to get them back. I got a Cawffee and two sausage biscuits at McDonald's for breakfast. No plans for lunch or supper.

I passed on lunch today. Still no clue for supper. I have an appointment with my Doctor for a checkup and a refill on my meds. I will probably get a late lunch after the Doctor's appt. We have had fantastic weather the last two days, with temps in the 80s.

Moose fixed two types of bow tie pastas and a salad for supper tonight. It is fairly good, I am not a big pasta person, I like lasagna and Spagetti and that's about it.

I ate too much pasta and I am ready for a nap, until I have to get up to check the plumbing.

It was a short nap and now I am wide awake after my 2200 plumbing check. The girls are sleeping in the back and I am surfing the satellite dish for something to watch.

I think you'd like this stuff, "SHE" had a girl's afternoon out thingy, and they went to Olive Garden...
"SHE" brought me a dinner of Sausage Stuffed Giant Rigatoni  www.olivegarden.com/menu/sausage-stuffed-giant-rigatoni/
Large pasta filled with flavorful Italian sausage and topped with our house-made meat sauce and fresh melted mozzarella., with I think kinda a light Alfredo sauce, their salad & coupla bread sticks...
Dang Dawg.... that was good stuff...

On the plumbing front, I can relate ....and checking USPS tracking I see, my new Rifle is in Orlando and out for delivery to my FFL today.

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking. Enjoy! M2, That pasta dish from Olive Garden sounds good. We go to a local Olive Garden once in awhile. We have not been over there a good while. I know that you are anxious to get the rifle. I am bidding on an old Colt Police Positive pistol in 32-20, I hope that I get it. I got my 32S&W and 32-20 ammo in the mail yesterday. I guess that I am fixed up for now. I need to order a couple of boxes of 45 Colt.

I have a Doctor's appt this morning for a checkup and refills on my medicine. The Cawffee is hot and strong. I need some Cawffee to wake up. The girls are still asleep in the back. It looks like that we will have a nice weekend.

Keep the snow up North, Slim. I slept in, I drank too much Cawffee this morning on an empty stomach. I am going back to bed for another nap before my appt. with the Doctor.

Rifle arrive, secret is out... it is a New in Box (new old stock) unfired ( other that the factory test ) Marlin 1894 Classic Limited in 32-20
made by the old JM Marlin Company in 1990.
Limited run of the original design in three chamberings  32-20 , 25-20 and .218 Bee...

I had been wanting a 32-20 for long time, I'll explain in an up coming "Shootist" review.

in other news... "SHE" & I went to Chile's for dinner , Bacon Burger was pretty good

M2, I know that you will get a lot of enjoyment out of the new rifle. I should be getting my old colt 22 revolver soon, and my antique 38 S&W ammo too. Moose brought Chinese takeout home for supper, but my stomach felt queezy and I did not eat it. I'll save it for lunch tomorrow. I am till in the running on the Colt Police Positive 32-20 revolver, I should know next week.

The Cawffee is especially good this morning, even if I made it myself. Someone of Facebook posted a video of some old 8 mm film of a parade in 1959 in my hometown of Dumas, Texas. I got a blimpse of my Dad riding my Horse (Sandy) in the parade, leading his deceased friend's horse(Houston) in honor of his friend, R L "Boss" Crump. It brought back a lot of great memories.
