The factory crimp die will be the BEST $25 you've spent .

Have you ever used that 45-75 to Elk hunt ? I bet that would be Big Medicine on a Elk .

Well, gotta put in my 2 bits here. I have  and been using a Lee factory crimp die for my 45-75 for several years and have NEVER had any problems with it. i know that my rifle is not a 45-60 but what the hell it is a 45-75--a great rifle and that crimp works just great so anybody who is wondering about it-- get one and you will not be displeased.
When in doubt, mumble!

Dear all,

Thank you for your kind support and hints.

Recently i got my special Accurate mould bullet 45-60 (46-305C) with the correct crimp groove.

Yesterday i loaded with 53grain Swiss FFG, no compression, + carton + thin paper wad and special blue lube (B.P. grease). I used my standard Lee die set and did a nice visible crimp into the groove. No Lee FC used yet.  Cartriges cycles very well :D

Next time i will use trailboss and RS30 powder with the same bullet.

The target will show the results...
