proper shotgun shell belt?

Hey Fellers,
New member gearing up here and I was wondering if this shotgun shell belt would pass muster.
I'm sure the belt itself is fine, but I'm wondering specifically about the leather strip under the individual loops to keep the shells from sliding down too far.

Thanks,

I don't see why not, it is similar to those in "Packing Iron" worn by both John Slaughter & Teddy Roosevelt. Personally I prefer those with a Mills buckle which can be acquired at many CAS suppliers.

Looks fine to me. Key is the correct material (check) and the correct single shell loops (check).
