Awhile back Lou was asking about a Rucksack for ammo to use at the GAF Muster, did one ever get made for her, purchased for her, traded for and used by her? if not, I've got one for her for next year!
Best regards and good shooting!

What a memory!
Gabe, I got a carpetbag and a tapestry haversack. Doc found an old Indian Wars-era haversack.
Next year, I want a mule.

A MULE? A real live braying, onery critter that is all teeth and hooves? How would you get that back and forth between Home and Muster? OH My. LOU LOU LOU LOU. When I ment at Muster about getting you to the redneck way of the force I didnt think you were going to take it to seriously.
On the other hand, Lars did mention earlier that he missed the presence of "horse apples and such" in the camp. You might be on to something here.
I had a great time at muster and it was a real pleasure visiting with you and Doc and the rest of 1st squad. When I left I had visions and plans forming for 2006.

My pa once claimed that once you ride a mule bareback, you're lucky if you can still walk. They tend to have some narrow withers.

Is a gun boy anything like a pool boy?
And, does this mean that you're planning on replacing Doc as your gun bearer?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Hmmm...well, I'm attending but not shooting next year, mayhaps I can fill in on a Stage as the Number #1 Bearer if RJR's Batman or one of the other Waddies doesn't jump in before I do, HAH!
Best regards and good shooting,

Scout
Doc's not replaceable -- nobody else would put up with me.
He'd like the mule & gun boy, too. Then Doc and I could hold hands as we walk from one stage to the next

I'm sure Doc is glad to hear he isn't to be replaced!
As for putting up with you - it don't sound so hard - you like BP, Remingtons, and cannons! You sound like my kind of woman!
Ooops, wait a minute, you are a high-maintenance kind of gal when it comes to gun shows. Doc sure is a lucky feller!
