How about a good Gunsmith in or about Oregon or Washington?  Got my new 1890 Remingtons in today and one especially needs a little tunin'!

They do feel good in my large hands though and the trigger finger falls right where it should on the trigger.

Terry Tussey does some really good work on Vaqueros and various other models of revolvers. 

While I have not used his services in the past, I would point out that pretty much everybody who knows who he is would vouch for him.

I don't know if he does work on 1890-s, but, it couldn't hurt to ask.  The price-guide on his web-site states that trigger work on a single action Colt clone goes for $170.  Couldn't be that far off...

By the way, he would be reached in Carson City, Nevada.

If that seems like too much to go through for your beloved wheelguns, do what everyone else does.  Try to make friends with your favorite local firearms dealers and see who they go to.

I have to look at some previous posts, but you have a very well regarded smith in Springfield, Oregon.  He specializes in '66 Winchesters and markets an aluminum platform for them.  I will look at previous posts to see if I can find his address for you.

Thanks Jax, I've talked to both of them at the range and at meetings they've been very helpful.   You got relatives up here that you'll be coming back to visit?  If ya do we'll have to do a beverage of choice, a brew and/or a burger.  Mid-Valley has taken some teachin' from Will and he did some action smoothing on my Rems.'s  Did a great job!

Glad to hear you got those Remingtons working like you want them. Not much beats a well running firearm except a fine woman! A good cee-gar and a mellow Scotch runs a close 3rd though.
