IT'S A GIRL!

7 1/5 pounds, brown eyes, multi-colored hair much like a German Shepherd, 1 1/2 years old, Chihuahua - Rat Terrier mix.
 
Joined us at about 11:00 am today.
 
Her name is Trinket and she's a very active little pup who has latched onto my wife already.

Well she's gaining weight: 10.5 pounds now.

Making herself at home and lets us share her house.

Rapidly proving her worth as a mighty hunter by ridding the place of grasshoppers and frightening off (or simple annoying away) several feral cats in the neighborhood, and welcoming such folks as a cottontail rabbit, three or four dozen quail, and the mail lady.
