First deer with my Cimmaron carbine
« on: December 15, 2014, 06:55:15 PM »
Took this buck with my Cimmaron/Uberti 76 carbine in 45/60.The range was 80 yards ,my shot broke his back. The load I was using was a 300 gr bullet cast from an original 45/60 mould lubed with spg back up by 60 grs of 2fg black powder. The buck had his revenge though, he weighed 250lbs and it just about killed me getting him out.

Barbarossa,

Very nice kill!

matt45,

Eating him, is the easiest, and best part of hunting.
(at least it is the reward most hunters look too)
