Davide Pedersoli Lever action Creedmoor sight 464
« on: December 09, 2014, 01:50:49 PM »
Any one esle got one of this sight.
I have two, ordered on the picture on the DP web site also looked at the PDF on the site. When it arrived surpriced it was set up to fold the wrong way, well not as expected.
Contact DP and they said the eye piece had been put on the wrong way for the picture???
I like the sight and how it works but cant fit it to any of my lever guns and I have all the modles because it fold onto the stock and not onto the tang.

What do you think??

Isn't there a way to reset the eye piece by re assembling the stem? If they had it on the wrong way, there must be a right way.

Mike,

Try Sir Charles suggestion first. The site may have just been assembled incorrectly?? I don't honestly know.
It does look to me as if the site post was installed on the base backwards?

If this doesn't work out for you...
Please contact me through my e-mail address listed in my profile.
Send me the photo you posted here as well as a photo of the sight on the gun, I will pass that info on to my contacts at DP (along with your e-mail and mailing  address). The folks at DP will be back in touch with you.
Best I can offer you at this time.
My best,

Sir Charles.
I have had two Emails to and from DP and they say the sight is set up correctly, I belive they would have a better sight if it folded to the longer end of the base as Do Lyman, Marbles.

The hole that the locking ball locates has been put on the wrong side of the base.

The PDF show the site in the correct set up.

They are a nice sight and a great price.

The other thing with these sight is that DP does not surply a long tang screw with these sight, only four short screw.  So the tang will have to be drilled and taped before the sight can be fitted.
