20 minutes early mine time, no bail is needed, someone of the kids said the managers were all growly to day, said I didn't notice, was told I would, said I'd just growl back, they left me alone, never asked if I had the dept ready and let me go first while they checked the other.

More power to ya Maj.  :)

Rain quit about 4 PM yesterday and moved on out,  some accounts said about 8"  ::)  in the 2 days.
clear & 46° this morning.

I slept in, gonna have Bran Flakes , but break tradition and have a Steak for Turkey day, "SHE" is doing a Breast anyway.

I was gifted an old Victorian Foy and Gibson metal steamer trunk, circa 1890's ....It's missing the hasp locking guts , but I found same on a antique hardware site with key  :) for 10 bucks.
This will make a great project , for a coffee table.

Thanks to all that serve and have served , and to all the pards ....have a great day

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Dad was admitted to the Oshkosh hospital yesterday. Low hemoglobin which is causing fluid retention in his lungs. Gonna go see him tonight or tomorrow morning 'fore we go to Marshfield for the weekend.

Fed the horses and checked the fence. Got some repairs to do in the spring.

Going to the in-laws for turkey lunch.

'Tis 16 and partly cloudy. High of 20. Could get 1" of sn*w tomorrow.

Turkey* is done, Sweet potato pie* is done, candied sweet potatoes in oven, green bean casserole about to go in. Soon be over stuffed.

*1 Actually a 3lb turkey breast chunk. There's only the 4 of us(2 that don't eat much) anyway.

*2 Didn't want to experiment with making a pie today, and Wally World grocery was sold out of frozen pumpkin pie, but had 3 Sweet potato left. Besides, just buying the spices I don't have already costs more than buying the pie.

PE,

For a small gathering, you made some good choices.

LR,

I agree. Sweet potato is good just roasted next to the coals along the fire place.
You all have a great Holliday.
