Reaming Forcing Cone on .22 S.A.R.
« on: October 21, 2014, 09:45:52 AM »
I have an SAA clone, .22 long rifle, with a forcing cone rougher than a corn cob.
Had a chamfer reaming kit on order at Brownells for over a year.  Still backordered.
Looking for:
A source for purchase, new or used?
A unit I could "rent for a day", etc.
Any help greatly apprciated.
Rob

Search is over.  D4 Tool rentals has what I'm looking for.
Plan to ream the forcing cone my SAA Pietta .22 clone which needs it badly and may also do a K-22 and a Security Six.
Will be back to report on results in a week or two.
