Little Big Horn Relic Spencer

For those of you who have not visited the Little Big Horn Battlefield or the Museum at Garryowen I thought I would post a picture
of a relic Spencer found on the battlefield shortly after the battle ended when troopers were cleaning up and burying bodies.
They had been ordered to destroy any found weapons and they did a good job on this Spencer.  The Custer Battlefield Museum
Director gave me permission to post this as the museum does not normally allow pictures in the museum.
