Here is what one shooter found out when changing from one lot of Swiss to another.

More in the density saga:  45-90.

75 gr by weight of the old lot =  1264 avg velocity, about 2 MOA

Same volume of the newer stuff, (68 gr weight) gave 1181,  all over the paper

75 by weight of new stuff = 1266, and 2 MOA again.  AHA!

Postell bullet, 528 gr, 20-1, .030 veggie wad, Black Magic lube, Fed 215, BA brass for all of them.

Yep, it changes, but I didn't think it would change THAT much from one lot to another!

IT'S THE MASS OF POWDER THAT PRODUCES THE ENERGY.  MASS IS VOLUME X DENSITY.  COMPRESSION INCREASES DENSITY.

WITH BP, ENERGY IS VERY CONSISTANT WHEN THE POWDER MASS IS CONSISTANT.
