Went to the Nugget Casino’s annual Rib Cook Off yesterday.  24 Rib cookers competing for “The Best in the West” title, along with dozens of corn stands, onion ring deep friers, beer and margarita vendors to help keep the hungries away!
Gonna do lobster tails on the grill for supper to night.
Looks like another ten days of sunny mid to upper 80’s weather here in Northern Nevada.

“To all you ignorant Islamic extremist f**ks. As I sit here constantly hearing and watching you execute innocent men, women and children in the Middle East I chuckle. Why do I chuckle you may ask? Well let me explain something to you cowardice fools who think you are so tough behind all your propaganda videos. You are scaring a population that doesn’t know how to fight, you’re bullying the weak. You say Islam is the religion of peace,but since when does terrorizing the innocent and beheading men, women and children constitute peace? WTF? But keep in mind, what did Saddam’s troops do when we came rolling into town? They surrendered, twice… So all your empty threats of coming to America and raising your flag over the White House amuse me more than any of you sick, sadistic bastards could ever imagine or comprehend. In 2012 there was about 21.2 million veterans in the United States. Do you understand what that means? Let me break it down for you. It’s one thing to take over an Islamic state, but if my memory serves me correctly, I’m pretty sure we plowed through Fallujah in 4 days. Better yet, it took us about month to control your entire country. At this point, with 13+ years of war under our belts, how long do you think it would take us to do it all over again? I’ll let you draw your own conclusions on that one. Do you really think you stand a chance on US soil? Do you really think it would be smart to poke that bear? Remember, never bite the hand that feeds you. Remember we are armed to the teeth in the US and I can promise you this… the Geneva Conventions will not apply to you. It is too hot for anymore Cawffee this morning, I am switching to Iced Tea.

81 and humid here. Have a good wind kicking up, too. Wife put the awning in because of it.

Been a repair day here. I put new valve stem felts in the horn that I gave to one of the wife's alumni band members. It needed them when I gave it to her, finally got some. also had to fix the cigarette roller my SIL uses. Turned out to be just clogged up, no parts needed.

Got a BBQ brisket sandwich & a tall Ice tea for lunch....
had some rain this afternoon, temps have dropped some, but will steam up with showers gone....

Rain this morning, tried to do some casting, but the old Lee Drip-o-matic didn't cooperate. Just about when the mold got good and warmed up, everything running good, then the spout freezes up. So I go away to do something else, while it heats up again.Work on the car for half an hour, come back to find a giant lead Stalagmite(or maybe a stalagtite) all the way from the base to around the spout. Had to un plug the thing, pour out the remaining lead, and take the base off of it to "get the lead out". Now I have a volcano shaped chunk of lead that's too big to fit in the pot.

Catfish, fresh from the freezer for lunch. Probably going to town soon for the weekly grocery run. This weekend feels backwards, had to work Sat, church on sun, then off on Mon...... Feels like Sat and Sun got reversed.
