Yesterday was my last official military function. I had a retirement ceremony in Grand Island, NE.
28 yrs, 11 mons, 21 days. But who's counting?
It was a great run, and I'd still be in except for Afghan injury in 2012.
They Bravo Company and the Battalion put on a nice going-away for me and my wife (Calamity JoAnne).
Present were my family, some friends, some cadre, some GAF VIP's GAF Commander Col Pitspitr and Chief of Scouts Terry Lane. Col Thomas Ross Brewer, NENG's most decorated soldier, also made the trip from Montana.
I really appreciate them making the trip and attending the soiree.
As for spare time, when we get the new bunkhouse finished and gun shop opened, we'll be going to some Musters!!
Respectfully,
Lt Col Mustang Gregg, Nebraska Territory
Aka MSG Gregg Clement (retired)
