The grilled chicken salads were good. The rain did not come as reported, maybe tomorrow. I can't go to sleep. It seems that I can only sleep during the day.

Hey y'all.

I'll stir up the coals again.

Had steak and beans for dinner, and about to chow on some root beer float.

Be going to the city tomorrow for the ever-favorite car shopping.  Mother wants a truck, pops wants an SUV.  I want a diesel truck, and the other two don't care, so long as there's enough room on long rides. :-\  Problem is, all of us are rather stubborn.  t'will be interesting.
On that note, here's a joke I came up with real late the other night.

"Why do car salesmen always have good luck with the ladies?"
"Because they have the best pick-up lines in town!" ::)

I'll see my self to bed now.

Water and coffee's on ;)

66, spotty clouds. Looking at upper 80's for today.

Concert at the fair later today. Figures, we're gonna roast. :o

Dealership surprised us and managed to get the beast fixed by yesterday afternoon. Part must've come in sooner than they thought ::)

Mornin', y'all.

'Bout like yestitty out. Guessers say a l'il warmer. 23 days 'til fall.

Always wondered why they stuck that nose on 'em, Del. GM didn't treat the front ends of the other high end, mid-size offerings of the time like that. Sales gimmick/experiment I suppose

Take out from the Roadhouse yesterevenin'. Had their version of pulled pork BBQ. Good, but Frankie's is more to my likin'. Smoked From Above is more ta my likin' than Frankie's. Kinda figgers. The Roadhouse is in the 'hood. The ride's all residential roads, no lights. Frankie's is a couple miles 'n two stop lights away. SFA is 'bout five miles out with ten gazillion friggin' stop lights twix here 'n there.

'Course mine is more ta my likin' than either of 'em but I didn't have the pork or the time. 'N I didn't have any sauce from the shop I like. Where's the shop? Across the parkin' lot from SFA......

Doin' fish this evenin'.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. We need to give TK a rim shot for that terrible joke. Las Vegas is not in his future for now. It is still dark outside, but still hot.

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Gonna put in the new sand point today.

'Tis 67 and overcast. Rained overnight. "Humid. Cloudy. Showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning...then scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 70s. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent."

Happy International Bacon Day!

Made a plateful this morning just to celebrate.

Gotta go help the daughter move her horse to a new barn, at least it will save her around $100 a month.

They will be moving out this way soon, renting a house about 5 miles south of us, a little further and they would be in NC.

I am pretty sure that was orange juice. But never liked it anyways. I do love some Bacon though... :)
