New Dutch Oven Recipe
« on: October 27, 2005, 12:55:09 AM »
What is it you may ask, well we ain't sure yet.  Gopher Grease and I ain't going to the banquit at the GAF Muster because we seldom get a chance to try new things with out a crowd.  But I can tell you it will invole a 2 1/2 pound boneless ribeye roast that is layin' round doing nothin' in the deep freeze (often called a Delmonico Roast) expect a report and recipe early next week. ;D

Well we got tired, nuthin' real fancy with it, I never got the rub I planned on it so we just cut it into 3 pieces, (Slim stayed in camp.) We put my cast iron grill over some hot coals, Gopher Grease just salted, peppered and garliced it and we basted it with butter and cooked them to our preferance and they were wonderful. ;D
