I found a pretty decent Winchester M97 for sale and was thinking of picking it up for Wild Bunch.  Thing is it's had a rubber recoil pad installed.  Other than being ugly as sin - are they "legal" for use in Wild Bunch?

Yep, A permanently fitted, non-adjustable, lace on, or slip on recoil pad is allowed on
the buttstock of rifles and shotguns.[/

I still like to use an Evil Roy style buttstock cover on my long guns. Good Luck :)

Thanks Jefro.  This is not slip on it's a permanent fixture, and certainly non-adjustable, so I guess it's legal then.  Ugly darn thing though.  Where can I get a look at these Evil Roy buttstock covers you are talking about?
