Morning Major thanks mighty kindly...

Startled awake a few minutes ago, a racket coming from the new air unit outside, kinda fast clack, clack, clacking ....
so we shut it down... thinking oh  s**T !
Turns out a tree frog, did a suicide leap into the fan....   now he's Kermit Sushi....

I'm wide awake so I'll put the coffee water on.... and have hankering for big flaky buttermilk biscuit with bacon  ;D
when planets align...do the deal !

E'nin, whoever is about.  I'm suckin' on a cuppa warmed over leftover. Prob'ly won't be around for the morning pot, maybe later in the day; gotta go see the ticker Doc in the morning.

I just thought I would "brag" or complain, or something; it's 2338 hrs, and the temp outside is still 103.  Got to somewhere about 110 today. S'posed to be hotter tomorrow.

Not a whole heck of a lot goin' on, got to get to bed at a reasonable hour so's I can get up for my appointment in the morning.

Later.

Hate those nights without sleep...  Knowed I shouldn't have had that Coca-cola right before bed...
Biscuit with bacon sounds good, though.

Okay, back in the sack now.  Try an count some sheep bullets, see if that helps.

I'll have to skip the swee-tea( A1c), thanks for the thought, though,lR. :( ;) I'll start a pot and put some more water on as well ::)

74 and tropical here. AC's been on all night. Surprised me when the girls said leave it on. Sweated my arse off yesterday. We cleared some more left-overs off the lot that they pulled a double wide off of. Had to cut wood up to fit in the dumpster. Filled it again, and still have stuff layin' there. Supposed to clean that mess up, the owners were.......and didn't ::) :P :-\

Heard from Del yesterday evening. He'll be pulling out today and might be on later today ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee, Buck.

Had rain yesterday afternoon and evening.

'Tis 62 and partly sunny. "Partly cloudy in the morning...then mostly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 70s. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent."

Mornin from Kansas City, all. 2/3 of the way home now, time for the wife's part of the trip(Shopping... :'( ). Maybe make it more tolerable if one of the stops is Cabellas, maybe they'll have some powder I might need in stock.

M-2, you must have some big tree frogs down there in semi tropical Fla, I don't think a Missouri tree frog would get more than one whack in an AC fan. But then we got some bullfrogs that might jam it completely....

TK: Yup, you best lay off that "hard stuff" before bed time...

PE ...They are about 3"- 3 1/2 long and love the moisture ...and we'll get plenty tomorrow
when the depression slides up the coast ... down about West Palm Beach now it be off shore

but I expect NC will get the front of it ...may not get much over 70-75 MPH winds though.

Ahhhhhh. The superb flavor of unsweetened tea with a twist. It went so well with the chicken, ‘taters, carrots ‘n butterbeans. Just amazin’, Maj.

The blow hard watchers givin’ us a 10-20% chance of 50+ mph winds Friday. Reckon folks won’t be needin’ the hood for firewerks parkin’ that evenin’.

Iced tea is always good in the warm months, not bad at other times either. I have to take mine unsweetened. It's been hot enough around here getting the chores done that I will welcome a couple of days of rain from the Tropical Storm. They can keep the winds offshore if they please, don't need trees down and power out.

You mean you're tired of doing the cooking don't you Del. Enjoy your pizza.

Del, we were thinking a little alike....but out pizza was a Was Mart take and bake, no delivery comes this far!

Arrived home about 8:45pm, Cabellas visit was un-productive. powder section consisted of a bunch of 4227, some Reloader 33, a can of .50bmg, a can of some kind of Norma, and some other I didn't recognize. The did have the first .22lr I have seen on a shelf in a couple of years, but at $5 for a 50 box, I wasn't interested.
