spare grip screws.
« on: June 30, 2014, 12:42:30 PM »
I replaced my plastic black grips a few months back on all 4 New Model Vaqueros..  I have decided to put the old pair on 2 of them and I found only one of the grip screws.  Does any body know of a good source for these?  I have contacted Ruger but got no response from them.

Go to Brownells.  They have a very large OEM inventory.  You can also try Midway.

Ruger is about the most responsive firearms manufacturer in the country.  Not sure how you "contacted" them but all I have ever done is CALL them and they answer.  They will most likely send you the screw.

just call Ruger and I am sure they will take care of you.

You will want to call the Newport plant...

Finally I got a hold of them.  They are sending me the new screws at no cost.

The replacement screws came yesterday.  Wouldn't you know it I found my old screws about 2 hours later.
