My attractive (to me) 1851 Navy revolvers have been spending long periods of time in my dark gun safe. Fearing for their well-being in confinement, I decided to bring them into the light. Here they are:
I think they feel better already. Also, I have easy access to take them to the range.

Ron have you ever seen Kaison foam?Do a search on it ,pretty cool stuff,i ended up gettin a huge piece for 24.00 and it about 2-3 inches thick,if ya need a slab i'll share it with ya.I thought it was going to be a 20 x 20 piece, but it's almost 5 foot long and 3 feet wide!

That is new to me, Rick. Looks very interesting. Finding adequate material for the backing and purple cloth for this set up was the hardest part. Where did you find the Kaison foam?
That is a nicely done box for the little double barrel!

Someone told me about it and i looked it up. You carve around the object (gun) abd the foam is in layers so you can have a place your
gun, kife, tools whatever, then you start peeling away, till ya hve it where you want,They have avideo on there site
