Lightning Revolver in .41 Long Colt?
« on: June 16, 2014, 04:38:28 PM »
Spoke with a dealer who said Cimarron is dropping this pistol from the lineup due to a lack of interest.  Be interesting to see how collectable they become.  I have only handle one lightning which I owned briefly, it shot well and had a nice feel and action.  Consequently always been intrigued by the .41 and was considering purchase but . . .

I a guessing that components for loading will become even more scarce now.

Cimarron still has a number of those in stock, but they move slowly because, as you said, it is not an easy cartridge to reload and new ammo (Ten-X I think?) is super pricey.

Yes, ammo is 75.00-100.00 per box.

Too bad, I really want one in 3.5 inch.
