Movie Last of the Comanches
« on: June 05, 2014, 07:32:11 AM »
Just watched this movie on Encore Westerns. It is from 1952 with Broderick Crawford and Lloyd Bridges. You don't get too far into it before you realize it is a Western remake of the classic 1943 Bogart WW2 movie Sahara. Instead of a tank named Lulubelle , it has a stagecoach named Buttercup. Lloyd Bridges must have felt right at home as he also was in the original Bogart movie . He dies in both but lasted longer in the western version.
