Snider-Enfield

I'm not sure where this thread should go, so I'll start here.

I just bought a Snider Enfield that needs some love.  The firing pin, spring and retainer 'nipple' are missing, and the forestock was cut off for'd of the lower barrel band.  So the upper barrel band and nose piece are gone, and I'd like to restore the old girl.

I'm pretty sure, from the little I've learned about these guns, that it is a 'purpose made' Snider.  It has a date of 1869 on the plate, and the latch to open the chamber gate.  Also, the rod is missing - thrown away when the stock was chopped.

Can someone steer me towards a source for some replacement parts?

Here's a picture of what it should look like, I think.

Thanks for the replies lads.  It seems I'm going to have to invest some time to narrow down my search for the parts I need.  I found some of the web sites quite informative....much more work ahead of me, if I'm going to get this great old rifle up and firing.
I appreciate your input.
