Check out these two 1873s
« on: April 03, 2014, 07:06:33 PM »
Keeping an eye on the new case hardened 1873s, found these two which the guy wants (sit yourself down) 15,000.00 for because they are consecutively numbered.

I asked if it was a typo he said no and that they were so rare he would buy any other consecutively numbered ones from me at a premium.  I asked why he though 3k worth of guns could fetch 15k and he became very pissy.

Oh well.

IF Winchester quite making the guns right this minute and there would be no more, then they might be worth a premium.  However, they are still in production so his chances of getting that price is basically zero
