Yuma & Dunphy
« on: April 03, 2014, 08:55:47 AM »
Here is a photo, taken at the NCOWS Convention, of two old pards - Yuma and Tom Dunphy.  A dashing pair to be sure.  And between the two of us, we actually do form a full beard and mustache.

There's going to be a proposal for a new shooting class for Congress to consider next year.

It's called "Shooting Irons", and the only requirements are every item of clothing has to clash, and at least one of your firearms chosen must have never been test fired by the shooter before.

Bonus scoring awarded if you shoot duelist and munch on a sandwich, or other food item, while progressing through the stage.

Three things this tintype needs:

1) a Shillelagh

2) a big Meerschaum pipe

3) a jug of Irish Rot 'o th' Gut.  (Made from Ireland's finest potatoes)

I have to agree.  I sure appreciate a good plaid.  And the more, the better.

OK, NCOWS Pards & Pardettes, trivia time on the prairie...
It is Friday night, you and your Dad are setting down to watch the Friday Night Fights on ABC-TV after supper, the Gillette Shaver commercial opens with the Parrot telling you to "...look sharp and you feel sharp too...", and then the announcer starts his spiel, "OK, sports fans this is Don Dunphy..."
Is Tom any relation to Don? Ya gotta admit, Tom really has his 'style points' all lined up! Oh, and what kinda watch is he holding?
Best regards, keep it plaid and please hand me the masche niblik!
