Prayer Possee Update

Grama Phyllis is going to have her thyroid surgery on Thursday Apr 3. Don't know the time yet but will find out.

Today she met with the"gas passer" and due to the fact that the thyroid is blocking the windpipe, they will be passing the vent while she is awake! she is not too happy about that.

she did get some good news. they said she has the EKG of an 18 year old

anyways please keep us in your prayers, sand will keep ya all updated

Phyls surgery went well. they took out only the left side. now she is walking around with a drain tube and a bulb, and I tell her she looks like Ang and billy bob when they carried a vial of each others blood around their necks. she dinnot laff.

the only fly in the ointment was the nursing staff got real busy after surgery and our nurse couldn't seem to complete a task we were done at about 230 and at a quarter of 7 the  charge nurse wanted her to transport a patient to another floor. I said no way. she was going to finish with us first. some times ya hurts your ankle when ya put your foot down heheh

saw the nurse today and they took out the drain tube (said that hurt like hell...) but she is doing well..and she doesn't snore anymore...

thanks for the continued prayers. it is healiing very well. the lump that was at incision point has gone down. scar will be barely visable. appears to have normal tissue from the f/u tests.

but dang it all she can STILL talk. so, once again thanks for all your prayers
