OCB,
I think that you could make a comic strip out of this thread! And then progress to a video game where you could design your own outfit!!

Let's see--- would I be able to use my Hopalong Cassidy cap guns, along with my Hopalong pocket knife and lunchbox, or would I be restricted to using a Mattel "Fanner 50" with greenie stick-em caps?
For rifle I could use my Red Ryder BB gun, (Original, of course) and a breakdown double barrel shotgun that fires corks for the shotgun. We might have to recalibrate all the targets, or I could just yell: "CLANG" as well as "BANG"!
For hat, I could wear a battered straw hat that is a spitting image of the one Howdy Doody wore.
For horse, I can appropriate my grandson's stick horse that makes clippety clop sounds and whinneys when you pinch his left ear.
This sound like a real winner!!! YEEHAW!

Howdy French Jack,
My oh my, what are we going to do with you!
Here we are with a new "Modern Class" and already you are going for and "originals" sub class!
OCB, ya gotta help your pard out here. It's for SS birds head SAA's, SS 1897 shotguns, and SS Marlins and "mouse Fart loads"
You got too much class in the equipment that you listed!
[By SS I mean stainless steel, not the German troopers]
I guess I'm just picky, picky, picky!!

On behalf of Mini-Me, I demand a class for action figures:
NO...No...wait... it has to be a class for matched team shoots:

Actually, Dr. Bob, that is Ken dressed up to go to a SASS shoot. Probably why he looks so vicious-- he wanted to go to an NCOWS shoot with LG.

Dr. Bob, French Jack,
I think the Lone Gunman Action Figure would be too traditioinal for the NCOWS modern class. This class is for shooters that have made modern modifications to their firearms such as the short stroke rifle and pistol. It will be called the
DEVO DOMINATRIX CLASS.
All shoots will be at least 12 stages before noon and 12 after. With the rifle targets no farther back then 10 feet and the pistol and shotgun targets half that distance. Remember we don't want to hear anything that sounds like a sequence of shots, No, we want one long drone, something on the order of the M-42 machine gun that the germans used during WW2. Hey that gives me an idea, how about a belt fed, short stroked lever action rifle (or pistol), with the Rifleman's (Chuck Conners) trigger modification?
Just food for thought.....
