Sweet-Orr Pants

Sweet-Orr was narrow-waled corduroy and often used for cowboy's pants. This is from the Laughing Moon Mercantile pattern. An interesting feature is the small button at the top of the fly that goes through a small button hole and is then attached to the shirt to stop it riding up.

I have several shirts with button holes for that button (never have seen the pants before) the problem is that one would have to wear the pants nearly up to their armpits to button the darn thing

Thanks, Grenadier. I'm afraid they take too much time for me to make a profit from them. They're a lot of work!
Will - it's a cool little button, even if I never fix it to a shirt.

Period trouser measurements should be taken at ones Bell Button location.
I think most folks will find these trouser and shirt types work well together if measured correctly.
My best,

Skeeter, that is some truly wonderful tailoring! What a fine skill to have.
Love those trousers too.
