I was going through my library today and noticed I had an extra copy of "Sharps Rifle, The Gun That Shaped American Destiny" by Martin Rywell.

It is a small book and not overly expensive, and I want to send it to someone who may be wanting a copy. I am willing to send it for free to the first person who posts a picture of themselves in full costume holding a sharps rifle.

Lets see if we get any takers.

Here's another. This was taken at the 125th Manassas back in 1986. The rifle is my New Model 1859, which could have been there 125 years earlier.

You may recall, The guy playing McDowell ordered a escorted ride through the Union encampment

and the Concord landing at Dulles at the height of the battle.

Sorry for the tardy reply.
I made the coat, or more precisely helped make the coat. The hat is an original Army seal skin hat.
