Hi pards
Wondering what the comfort and sole repair differences between the Rock Creek Range  and the Nebraskan Mule Ear Shooter boots are?
Personal experience & opinions welcome.

I have a pair of the Nebraskan Mule Ear Shooter Boots. I had to put insoles in them before they fit right. After that they were comfortable. I've had them about a year, it's time to replace them. I do wear them about 3 times a week.

I have 2 pair of the Mule Ear. Very thin soles. I put padded insoles in them to help pad my foot from the rocks we have here in the Texas hill country. One pair have had about 4 years now and they look well broke in. Comfortable but thin soles. If walking on grass, they will be very good. Buy 1/2 to 1 size larger.

I'll add my voice to what others have said about these boots. After adding an insole for comfort they have been great. Especially the lower walking heel.

Did you also order a size larger?  Is that the norm?

I order 1/2 size bigger on all my boots to accommodate sock fitting.

No, thank you! Your post triggered me to look at the Web page and that is how I found out about the sale. Now i have a second pair coming out to match my black rig.
