I had that problem with one of my early Schofield's.
I got a good light and shown it down the barrel as I cocked the revolver, The chambers did not line up with the bore when in full cock.
I put the other cylinder in and everything worked and lined up perfectly.
I call Uberti USA and talked to Maria. She sent me new cylinder with fitted extraction star at no charge.
It seems they had some problems getting the bolt stops on the cylinder and the teeth on the extraction star cut in the proper position to line up with the chambers in these early models.
I have had no other problems with this revolver after that
Not saying this is you problem, just a thought on my part.
