UBERTI four barreled derringer

Have one of these little devils.Seems complete but cannot release the barrel slide.It has a very short screw,no spring.How to get this beast to slide forward??

place it on half cock & push up on the screw pertruding from the underside of the frame just behind the muzzle of the barrels, then slide the barrel forward

Just a reminder - these aren't chambered for .22 Long Rifle - they're chambered for .22 Short...

Just a reminder - these aren't chambered for .22 Long Rifle - they're chambered for .22 Short...

The Ubertis may be chambered for .22 short; but the Miroku I have is chambered for 22 LR and is  marked 22LR on the frame.
